Buffett Margarita Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Tequila
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1 splash Orange Curacao
- 2 oz Jose Cuervo 1800
- 1 dash Salt
- 2 wedges Lime
- 11/4 oz Sweetened Lime Juice
Buffett Margarita Equipment
- shaker with strainer - get rid of large pieces of ingredients (ex: fruit parts, seeds)
- classic kitchen blender or smoothie blender works too
Buffett Margarita Recipe
Fill a shaker with ice and squeeze the lime in. Add the ingredients in the order listed above, except the salt. (Note: the 1/2 oz. of tequila is Cuervo White, or Clasico Silver.) Cover tightly, and shake well. Rim a glass with a lime peel and the salt. Add fresh ice to the glass and strain in the mixture. *OR* Prepare in a blender and serve Daiquiri style. Be sure to crank up "Margaritaville" while preparing. (Rumor has it that this is Mr. Buffett's personal recipe.)
